My Pillow Product Review
Meet Jenn Burton Here is Her Journey with Scentsy
My Scentsy story starts in January of 2007. I had always loved burning candles, however, we realized that we were getting black soot all over our ceilings and and we also had a 3 year old that was fascinated with the flame. I also kept forgetting to blow them out when we left the house or sometimes even when we went to bed. We decided that maybe we shouldn’t burn candles anymore.
One day when I went to get my hair done, my hair stylest told me that she was selling this new product called Scentsy. I had never seen a Scentsy warmer before but loved the idea of being able to have the scent in my house but without all the risks. I also thought that maybe my nail clients (I had done nails out of my house for 13 years) would love it to and that they could buy their ‘refills’ through me. So, without even seeing any of the products first, I decided to sign up. That night I couldn’t sleep because I was so excited about it and had so many ideas.

A headboard can find repurposed life as a bench
Wendell Heintzman knows it. For the past two years, the Pooler resident has been granting old and unwanted headboards a second life by transforming them into custom-made benches-the wide, high-back sort with storage space underneath that you find in someone’s entry way or den.
“We were looking for something to do,” said Heintzman, who goes by Wendy. He and his wife, Gale, share a home on Rogers Street near Highway 80. A hand-painted sign dangling from a low, chain-link fence outside the house heralds Heintzman’s hobby: “Benches for Sale.”
The coupled retired in the early ‘00s and they got the idea to start making benches after visiting Two Women and a Warehouse, an antique and used furniture store on Skidaway Road in Savannah. (The owners have since opened a second location at Morgan’s Corner in Pooler.)
