My Visit at CityMarket Savannah GA

I just Love going Downtown and especially going to City Market. Now it’s only four blocks long but when you go there

you just want to stay awhile All the quaint shops and Art galleries not to mention the candy confection shops and restaurants. There are always Horse and buggy rides and tours and almost always when I go there is a band playing. I Love to get a gelato or eat my meal outside and listen to the music. It’s like a free concert, where people are allowed to bring their pets and just enjoy the surroundings and community. Now for more History and events at City Market please visit :

Hi love the pictures from your hometown. I was raised until 10yrs old in Valdosta GA then moved to northern IN. Although I have been here for over 30yrs still that I have a bit of the southern still in my blood.;) The small town my family of 10 live in has horse drawn buggies driven by the Amish.

I live in northeast GA and my husband and I LOVE Savannah- we made our first trip down last June and it was absolutely heaven. We stayed in the Kehoe House and I couldn’t imagine a better place to have a get-away. The history and the city were just lovely. We don’t have that here where I live. We are in an overpopulated town north of Atlanta, not quite in the mountains and not much to be famous for other than being the chicken capitol of the world. We love that Savannah is so close and maybe soon we will get back and enjoy it again!

  3. We just adore Savannah. We used to just do a drop in for lunch on our way down to Florida. This past year we decided we must go back for a weekend. We LOVED it. So much charm, history, good food and such nice Southern hospitality. Great photos, you captured it well.
