New Years Eve printables

New Years Eve doesn’t have to be all about the party – and it doesn’t have to be all about the adults, either. There are some fun ways to get your kids involved and excited about the new year. I’m sharing two printables with you today, one for older kids and one for the little ones.

Homemade Holidays: Thanksgiving Recipe, Decor and Craft

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow?! Where has the time gone? Judging by all the texts going on between my family members, none of us are really prepared! If you are still wondering what you’re going to make/take to your Thanksgiving dinner…here are are a few options!

Recipe:

This recipe from Cherished Bliss looks rather harmless as it only has four ingredients, and I imagine it tastes a lot better than that canned stuff! It only takes about 15 minutes to make, so if you are hosting the dinner, do it about an hour before everyone gets there so it has some time to cool down. If you are a guest this year, it would be a perfect present to bring the host(ess). Cherished Bliss is a food and craft blog, and they have a lot of fun recipes and DIY crafts to check out!

Decor:

This is a simple DIY from Design*Sponge and all you need is some marbled paper, an empty paper towel roll, some mod podge and Krylon Crystal Clear spray! If you are fancy and have cloth napkins at your Thanksgiving dinner, these will be the perfect addition. I have followed Grace Bonney and Design*Sponge for a while, and I have to say that I want to do every DIY I see on there. She also has a budget and difficulty indicator!

Craft:

Have some mini pumpkins lying around from Halloween? This easy and cute kiddo DIY from Spark and Chemistry will keep your little one(s) entertained while you get everything ready! Just try to do it before their shower so you can clean off the permanent marker! These will be cute to have around your house, or to give to the host(ess) as a Thank You gift for hosting! Spark and Chemistry is a diy blog with lots of good style, craft and party inspiration to share!

Do you have any last minute Thanksgiving decor, recipes and crafts you want to share? Post in the comments and share with us on Facebook! Amanda Branham is a stay-at-home mom who also blogs about her adventures in domestication at from house parties to housewife.
